overview

Sabarr is designed with privacy as a core principle. The app connects directly from your device to your self-hosted servers. We do not operate any intermediary servers and do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data.

data we do not collect

Sabarr does not collect any of the following:

• Server hostnames, IP addresses, or API keys
• Download history, queue contents, or media library data
• Usernames, passwords, or authentication tokens
• Device identifiers or location data

optional diagnostics and analytics

Sabarr includes optional crash reporting and usage analytics controls in Settings. These controls are disabled by default. If enabled, only anonymized diagnostics and feature-level usage events are sent to improve reliability and product quality. API keys, server addresses, and media content are never included.

local storage

All connection details (server URLs, display names) are stored locally on your device using iOS standard storage. API keys are stored exclusively in the iOS Keychain, which provides hardware-backed encryption. No connection data is sent to any third-party server.

network communication

Sabarr communicates only with the servers you configure:

• SABnzbd, Sonarr, Radarr instances — direct API calls from your device to your servers
• Apple App Store — for subscription verification via StoreKit 2
• Apple iCloud — optional settings sync for Pro subscribers (API keys are never synced)

icloud sync

Pro subscribers can enable iCloud settings sync. When enabled, connection metadata (server URLs/hostnames, display names, and service types) is synced via Apple iCloud. API keys are never synced — they remain in the iOS Keychain on each device and must be entered separately.

third-party services

• Apple StoreKit 2 — subscription management (governed by Apple's Privacy Policy)
• Tailscale — optional VPN connectivity (governed by Tailscale's Privacy Policy)

children

Sabarr does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app is rated 4+ and does not contain user-generated content or social features.

changes

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
